NCAA Women's Basketball Bracket Trends by Conference

Certain teams and conferences are perennial powers when it comes to the NCAA women's basketball bracket. Tennessee, Connecticut, Duke, and LSU have consistently made Final Four pushes over the last few years. Tennessee has won seven women's national championships, the last being in 2007(the Lady Vols have been to 6 Final Fours since 1998).Connecticut won the national title in 1995, 2000, 2002, 2003, and 2004. Duke has made it to the Elite 8 five of the last six years including three Final Fours. LSU has been to the women's Final Four in each of the last four years.

Big East: 12 including eight by UConn. 6 national championships.
Big 12: 6 including 3 national championships.
Big Ten: 8 including 1 national title.
SEC: 32 including 17 by Tennessee. 7 national titles all by Tennessee.
Pac 10: 9(last one in 1997) including 6 by Stanford. 4 national titles.
Other Conferences: 23 including 14 from 1982-1988. 3 national titles.
