AP Women's Basketball Top 25: Women's College Hoops Poll

For the 2008-2009 women's college basketball season forty-nine voters are partaking in the weekly AP women's basketball top 25 poll. A first place vote nets twenty-five points while a 25th place vote nets one point.

The AP women's basketball poll for the week of March 9 has five ACC teams, six Big 12 teams, four Big East teams, one Big Ten team, three Pac-10 teams, four SEC teams, and two mid-major teams with South Dakota State ranked number 17 and Xavier ranked number 20. The usual suspects remain at the top of the AP women's basketball top 25 with Connecticut, Stanford, Oklahoma, Maryland, Louisville, and Duke leading the way. Tennessee is number 19 this week.
